For this Telford project, the client wanted to refresh their outdoor wooden fence, which had naturally weathered over time. The goal was to update the fence with a modern, protective finish that would enhance its durability and visual appeal, creating a sleek backdrop for their garden.
The project began by cleaning the fence thoroughly to remove any dirt, mildew, and loose wood fibres, essential for achieving a smooth finish and ensuring the paint adheres properly. Once cleaned and dried, we prepped the wood surface, checking for any rough spots or damage that required minor sanding or repair.
We chose a high-quality, weather-resistant outdoor paint in a contemporary grey shade, perfect for modernizing the look of the wooden panels. Using the Graco airless sprayer, we applied an even coat across the entire fence, ensuring that the paint reached every crevice and texture in the wood. The airless spray system provided a uniform, professional finish without brush marks, crucial for achieving a sleek look on large outdoor surfaces.
The grey colour not only provided a sophisticated contrast against the greenery of the garden but also aligned well with the aesthetic of the property, creating a cohesive look with the brickwork and surrounding structures.
