In this Telford project, the client needed a comprehensive refresh of a small room, intended to be a bright and versatile space. The room’s “before” state shows a worn, outdated interior with scuffed walls and a dull ceiling, making it feel closed-in and underutilized. The objective was to achieve a clean, modern look that would uplift the room’s atmosphere and make it adaptable for multiple uses.
We began by addressing the walls and ceiling, which required extensive preparation due to visible stains and uneven areas. Using Festool sanding equipment with dust extraction, we carefully smoothed the surfaces, removing any imperfections and preparing them for a flawless paint application. This meticulous preparation step is essential for creating a long-lasting and smooth finish, particularly in smaller spaces where every detail is magnified.
Once the surfaces were ready, we applied a bright white paint using our Graco airless spray system, which allowed for even coverage across both the walls and ceiling. This airless spray technique ensures a smooth, professional-grade finish without the streaks or marks that can come from traditional rollers or brushes. The result was a crisp, clean look that maximized the room’s natural light, making it feel more spacious and open.
The sliding doors were cleaned and adjusted to ensure easy access to the outdoor space, adding an extra layer of functionality to the room. We also applied a high-durability paint on the door and trim to ensure they could withstand regular use while retaining their fresh appearance.
The client was pleased with the transformation, appreciating the bright, open feel of the room and the meticulous finish.
