This project in the Telford area involved a complete transformation of a small interior hallway space. The initial condition of the room showed neutral beige walls that, while clean, lacked warmth and personality. The client wanted a more vibrant look to add character and bring new energy into the space.

To achieve this, we used a high-quality airless spray painting technique, employing our professional Graco airless sprayer. This method ensured an even and flawless application, which is especially important for achieving smooth, uniform coverage on both the walls and the intricate details around doors and frames. The chosen colour was a warm coral shade, creating a striking contrast against the crisp white door and trim. This bold yet welcoming tone completely redefined the atmosphere, bringing brightness and a modern touch to the area.

Before starting the spray painting, we prepared the walls thoroughly, filling any minor imperfections and ensuring a smooth surface. For this, we used Festool sanding equipment with dust extraction, which not only guaranteed an even base but also kept the work area clean and minimised disruption for the client. This preparation is essential for long-lasting, professional results, and using high-grade tools like Festool makes a noticeable difference in the quality of the finish.

As seen in the “after” photo, the contrast between the coral walls and the dark tiled floor enhances the room’s aesthetic, adding depth and warmth. Additionally, the door and trim were repainted with a durable, scuff-resistant white paint to ensure they complemented the new wall colour and would withstand regular use. We used a quick-drying, high-durability paint for these high-touch areas, which is critical in entryways and corridors.

The client was thrilled with the transformation, noting how the colour choice and seamless finish had exceeded their expectations. This project demonstrates how careful colour selection, combined with professional-grade equipment and meticulous preparation, can transform even the simplest spaces into something unique and inviting.
